Practice Rooms
Because of extremely-high costs associated with reserving practice space at the Silver Center, no practice rooms are available there this year. We ask for your understanding and support. In the past, bass storage at the Silver Center cost almost $12,000 per season alone. Our basses may keep their instruments either at Plymouth Congregational Church (we have a room in the lower level that can be locked and there is elevator access) or put your basses on stage at Hanaway.
We ask that you all be mindful of the groups or individuals who most need rehearsal spaces at the church (which is available 24/7 for practice). Chamber musicians, musicians with exposed solos, pianists, should be given extra consideration.
Please do not prop doors at either the Silver Center or the Church. A propped door at the Silver Center will cause a police alarm and if called, the Festival must pay for that service. The church doors will open every day at 8:00 a.m. and close at 10:00 p.m. However, if you wish to practice in the middle of the night, that is fine. Simply contact Lucinda or David Williams (Music Director at Plymouth Church) who have master key access through our mobile phones. We can “buzz you in” to the church at any time.

COVID PROTOCOLS
As Covid-19 and its variants are a constantly changing and fluid situation, these guidelines, recommendations, and requirements are based on the most current public health guidelines at local and federal levels as well as contractually with PSU and the Plymouth Congregational Church. These requirements are subject to change.
• Self-certify prior to any event (rehearsal, concert, run-out, etc).
o Have no signs of a fever or a measured temp above 100.3 degrees or greater, a cough or trouble breathing within the last 12 hours.
o Have had no “close contact” with an individual diagnosed with Covid. Close contact means living in the same household or caring for a person who has tested positive.
o It is required to have the two rounds of vaccines. If you have not had the vaccine, you must notify the Executive Director or Personnel Manager. Unvaccinated due to religious beliefs or a medical condition preventing same are addressed on a case by case basis.
