NHMF Annual Fund 2010/2011

As chairman of the New Hampshire Music Festival, I want to personally thank you for considering a generous gift to the 2010 and 2011 Annual Fund. It is truly an investment in the excellence of the Festival.

Excellence is more than our inspiration; it is our standard. As we begin our 59th season in 2011, the New Hampshire Music Festival remains a key leader of New Hampshire's cultural scene, providing a vital resource for meaningful music and education programs.

Excellent Music

The Classics Series performances represent the best of the best, emotionally charged concerts that are the signature of the Festival's celebrated brilliance. The Pops is uniquely American, a symphony concert full of fireworks that would rival the classiest of classy ensembles. Our Chamber Music Series, planned by our own Festival musicians, is a treasured gem among concertgoers.

Children Who Excel

One of the ways that the New Hampshire Music Festival distinguishes itself from other Festivals is that, at the close of the season, it continues with its music programs in the public schools. One of our most popular education programs, the Mostly Music Series brings talented musicians into the classrooms throughout the school year. These artists perform, present master classes and lectures and work with students, providing opportunities and exposure to music these students would not otherwise have had. At the end of the residencies, the artists present free community concerts in a Lakes Region venue. Programs such as Mostly Music help our teachers give their students the best chance to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Communities Defined by Excellence

In many ways, artistic and cultural institutions define the quality of life in the communities they serve. And for over half a century, the New Hampshire Music Festival has been a beacon telling the nation and the world that our cherished Lakes Region ranks among the best.

Your gift plays a crucial role in bringing about our remarkable success in performance and education.

During these uncertain economic times, I am particularly grateful for your generosity and loyalty to this institution. You have demonstrated confidence in the future of the Festival and its mission.

Especially now, we thank you for keeping the Festival a priority in your charitable giving.

With warmest wishes,

Ronald I. Sibley
Chairman
